Trophy for 2009

Due to an apparent flaw in the trophy that has been awarded the past two years, the league will be awarding a different trophy in the 2009 season. The trophy will still stay with the winner and a new trophy awarded each year. The flaw with the trophy awarded the past two years has been in the design. There seems to be a weak stress point on the ankle of the football player that is causing the trophy to crack and possibly break. Had I known this at the time, I would not have suggested this as a possible trophy.

I will try to find some interesting trophies and let everyone vote on which they like best. I will post pictures of the possible trophies here. Once posted, you can vote for a particular trophy by stating your choice in a comment to the post.

Thanks.

Triple C Bowl Champion Crowned

Congratulations to Patrick Tenney, coach of the Mt. Morris Mauraders, who held off a late surge by last year's Triple C Bowl Champion, Ur Momma, to claim his first championship crown. Patrick becomes just the second rookie ever to win the league.

Trophies and certificates will be handed (sent) out in the next week. Please be sure to take the post season survey and let the commissioner know your feelings on important issues surrounding the future of the league. Results of the survey will be posted here after the Super Bowl.

Thanks for playing.
